NEKids (formerly known as NE CHIP- Child Identification Program)
This program provides parents with a comprehensive kit that can be used to help identify a missing child.
The Nebraska Masonic Child Identification Program is available to all lodges to present in their communities. To conduct an event, a lodge will need to fill out the application form found here. Send the form by email to the address at the bottom of the form. A coordinator will contact the lodge lead person designated on the form. Equipment will be used from the nearest site and someone will be responsible for pickup and return. It is important that volunteers have the background check completed by the lodge conducting the event. There is a link to a site that can be used on the application form. It is quite simple and it is the lodge’s responsibility. A list of volunteers should be returned to the NEKids/NECHIP program. There is a fee to be collected. It is five dollars ($5.00) per child at this time, and this covers the use of the equipment and disposables.
The program has been re-branded as NEKids. This new branding moves the program more in line with the target audience and removes any confusion on what the identification process is. The new logo and name is being inserted on all documents and paraphernalia used in the events as we are able to fund replacements items. You will see these changes taking place over time, but right now our forms and thumb drives are changed with new logo. Our back drops will be next.

MVP- Masonic/Veterans Partnership In February 2014, the program was taken under the wing of the Nebraska Masonic Foundation and the name was changed to Masonic Veterans Partnership (MVP). As a program of the Nebraska Masonic Foundation, a 501c3, contributions to the fund are eligible for tax deduction. The Masonic Veterans Partnership will continue to search out programs to support for the benefit of returning military members and wounded warriors.
